We are once again due to begin participating in the Annual Ministry Appeal to fund the ministries and programs of our diocese. The AMA provides funding to programs vital to our diocesan mission, such teaching the faith and providing and supporting priestly vocations. Among the diocesan departments funded by the AMA that support those aspects of the diocesan mission are the departments of Youth and Young Adult Ministry, Catholic Schools, Religious Education, Vocations to the Priesthood, and the Department of Continuing Education for Priests.

If you are on our mailing list you either have or shortly will have received a brochure and pledge card. I hope you will support this appeal. I can assure you that our diocese has no other means of support other than what comes from the parishes and the Annual Ministry Appeal is vital to our functioning as a diocese. I'll be saying more about this in the coming weeks.
